My Life On Record: Josephine de la Baume Reveals Her Top 7 Favourite Songs

Every Wednesday afternoon we ask our favourite celebrities to tell us the songs that make up the soundtrack to their lives, from their first breakup track to the song they wished they'd written. This week, we asked actress and singer Josephine de la Baume...

1. The first album I ever bought...

Culture Club's Kissing To Be Clever. It came out way before I discovered it but eventually I saw a video when I was three years old on TV and fell madly in love with Boy George and asked my mom to buy it for me.

2. The first song I was obsessed with...

Jacques Dutronc J'aime les Filles, Les Cactus and Andy by Les Ritas Mitsoukos - my two favourite french bands!

3. The song that reminds me of my girlfriends...

Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nivana - the title says it all.

4. My first break-up song was…

Piensa En Mi by Chavela Vargas. So dramatic, it is the soundtrack of an Almodovar movie that I love. It is sung with so much passion, absolutely perfect to cry your life out.

5. The song that reminds me of my first crush/love...

Nas, If I ruled The World. It's stilll one of my favourite songs ever. It was a time where Hip Hop was at its peak and France had great Hip Hop too.

6. The song that sums up my teenage years...

NTM That's My People. It's French Hip Hop.

7. The song I wish I had written...

Les Fleurs by Minnie Riperton. It's one of the most epic songs ever.
