TV presenter Helen Skelton, 31, tells us about her average day...
7AM: As soon as I wake up I put on BBC breakfast. Then once I’ve heard the headlines I flick over to Good Morning Britain, to see what they’re talking about.
10AM: While I’m checking my emails I’ll have Spotify on. At the moment I’m listening to Emile Sande, Ed Sheeran and Clean Bandit – I love their song, Rather Be.
1PM: If I was having a treat lunch, there’s a really nice Spanish tapas place near us in Stockton Heath called Ego. I like fish, so I’d usually have calamari, or maybe salmon.
3PM: There’s a canal at the bottom of my garden, and I love to kayak in it. The BBC borrowed my kayak a couple of years ago and I never got it back, so I treated myself to a new one recently.
7PM: My husband James and I like going to the theatre. The last thing we saw was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which was amazing. The staging is so clever.
10PM: I used to be too fidgety for TV, but James has got me into watching boxsets. I love Game of Thrones and True Blood, but I’ll only ever watch one episode at a time.
11PM: I like to read books before I go to sleep, especially sports autobiographies. I’m reading Harry Redknapp’s at the moment. I also really enjoyed Kate Aides, I read that one four times.
