It's all about Miley Cyrus this week (no change there then). Not only have we seen her striking a raunchy pose for the covers of LOVE and W Magazine, her single with Mr Hudson was released in the UK on Sunday. 'Real And True' is an electronic pop ballad that caused a stir a few months back thanks to a space-themed video which sees Miley stripping off (again) and was directed by none other than Rankin.

The photographer and the popstar have worked together on several occasions, most memorably when she starred in his magazine Hunger. And it seems the pair hit it off so brilliantly, they've been snapping up opportunites to collaborate ever since. Indeed, it was Miley's idea that Rankin get involved in the music video and asked Mr Hudson to contact the legendary snapper.

'I first met Miley on a Rankin photoshoot and she told me to ask him to direct the video and he agreed,' Mr Hudson told us when we bumped into him at the HUGO BOSS David Bailey Stardust exhibition earlier this week. 'I said, "I don’t mind what we do. I'm up for anything as long as I can wear a space suit!"' And he sure did.

So did the collaboration involve non-stop twerking and endless tongue-poking? Apparently not. 'She is the most charming and professional and lovely person to work with,' according to Mr Hudson. In fact, the duo bonded over dogs. 'I was dog-sitting my friend’s pet dachshund at the time and Miley immediately loved the dog. She demanded that Rankin took a picture of us with it,' the musician explained. How rock'n'roll!
