LOOK: It’s The First Photo Of Taylor Swift's Cameo In New Girl!

Here’s the first picture of Taylor Swift playing Elaine (Shivrang’s ex) in the Series Two finale of New Girl.

The episode centres around Cece’s wedding day. Expect the usual Schmidt lols, Winston overenthusiasm and the usual Jess and Nick drams. Erm, awkward romantic tension? If there’s one thing that Taylor knows about, it’s that.

So what was the "vibe" like on-set? Did Zooey and T-Swift chat ex’s, hipsters and country-folk pop, or what?!

We might have to wait until the episode airs (although we’ve been told that there’s an in-joke around her song 22- hashtag amazing) but according to New Girl executive producer Liz Meriwether, there was a distinct atmosphere of ‘geek out’ in the air. Meriwether admits she regressed back to her inner teen when our favourite country-pop star turned up.

“I didn’t get to meet her right away,” she blabbed to Entertainment Weekly ,“because I kind of had to compose myself -  there’s a 14-year-old girl inside of me.”  Which sounds a bit painful to us, but we’d probably be the same. “She kind of came and nailed it,” Liz added, talking about T-Swi's acting chops.

Jake Johnson (Nick) said that Taylor was “very good". He explained: "She came in and is really nice. It’s not an easy scene. There was probably about 70 extras there – though I’m sure she performas to much bigger (crowds) than that on a regular basis. She had a little monologue and delivered it perfectly. Liz gave her alternative jokes and lines, she delivered them all perfectly. It was frustrating.”

We’re still keeping our fingers crossed for a Zooey-Taylor bangs masterclass/duet/retro fashion off.

Still, we’re a bit worried. At the risk of coming over all 'spoiler-y', the episode’s called Elaine’s Big Day, so does that mean we will we see Shivrang leaving CeCe at the altar? Yikes!

All together now: "Who’s that girl? It’s Taylor…"
