Lena Dunham is seemingly taking over the world! And we love it. Whatever she puts her mind to she can do, and supremely well, at that. Now, Ms Dunham has tried her hand at a spot of music video directing, taking her place behind the camera of her boyfriend of two years Jack Antonoff - aka the lead singer of Bleacher (better known as the guitarist in Fun's) debut music video for his new project.
A pro at chronicling modern neuroses - watch just five minutes of Girls and you'll get a pretty spot on view into the inner workings of a twenty something year old girl's mind - who better to get on board than Lena for single 'I Wanna Get Better' which chronicles a mental breakdown. Full of lol takes on some not so very lol things, the video sees Antonoff play a just dumped psychotherapist whose patients - a middle aged woman whose husband is cheating on her, a troublesome twenty-something complete with 'abortion dog' (don't ask) a neurotic business man and etc - lip-sync the words to the track in between some bad behaviour and lol-worthy (complete with signature Lena Dunham humour) lines like 'I don't know how to power clash'. Amazing! We wouldn't have expected anything less from the Girls mastermind.
Where she found time for this in between creating and starring in Girls, appearing on the cover of US Vogue, signing a multi-million pound book deal (which is set for release in October - eeek!) and a spoof-tastic appearance on Saturday Night Live, we don't know, but one thing's for sure - the hilarious and super talented Golden Globe's winner shows no sign of abating.
