Ever wanted a tour of Downton Abbey by Lady Edith herself? Then here's your chance! The lovely Laura Carmichael has given us the heads up that she's hosting a charity online auction as part of her role as patron of the Haiti Hospital Appeal. Money raised will go towards helping keep the vital hospital network alive in Haiti long after the earthquake funds have dried up. It's a brilliant cause, we're sure you'll agree, and is one close to the actress' heart after she visited the area last year.
So what's the deal? Well, the auction, which is run by Omaze, is a £6 raffle affair with prizes along the way for those feeling especially generous. Most excitingly, it offers a variety of celebrity experiences, including a trip to Highclere castle where you can watch the Downton cast in action as they film the new series.
What's more, you'll be treated to a stay at the rather swanky St Pancras Hotel - the very same place where Laura and co shot last year - AND be treated to dinner with Ms Carmichael herself at the Criterion, which was also a location in series 4.
