Was Lady Gaga's Performance On 'X Factor' The Most Shocking Yet?

Lady Gaga on 'The X Factor' [Rex]

The big storm aside this morning EVERYONE is talking about Lady Gaga's mental X Factor performance last night. Singing not one but two songs, the Queen of pop pranced about the stage in some rather questionable looking nude underwear - even swapping her hair colour AND style half way through the performance. Luckily she didn't strip completely naked as she did later at GAY nightclub, but that's another story...

Gaga, who is currently promoting her new album, also used the oppurtunity to try and heal the rift between herself and Kelly Osbourne - via Kelly's Mum Sharon. Gaga presented Sharon with a cake that read, 'Happy Birthday Kelly,' however, it didn't seem like Kelly was in the forgiving mood as she posted a picture of the sweet treat on her instagram under the caption #eatmysh*t. Awks.

Of course, Lady Gaga is not the first person to have got everyone all worked up into an X Factor frenzy, here are some of our other favourite guest performances...

1. Whitney Houston - Million Dollar Bill

In 2009 the late Whitney Houston performed Million Dollar Bill - two things are great about this performance, 1. It's Whitney Houston, 2. About half way through her dress breaks (shock, horror etc) and Whitney, being the stellar performer that she was, just carried on. That's professionalism right there.

2. Lady Gaga - Marry The Night

Ok, so last nights performance wasn't Gaga's first crazy X Factor experience. After spending the first half of her Marry The Night performance in a purpose built confessional box - Gaga came out in a costume that made her look like a beheaded woman. We have no idea why...

3. Rihanna - We Found Love

OMG Rihanna, you are like SO controversial. In 2011 Rihanna caused absolute uproar when she performed on the X Factor with shoes that had the work f*ck scribbled on them. We wouldn't have expected anything less.

4. Katy Perry - The One That Got Away

Sob, sob, sob, when Katy Perry performed The One That Got Away sans her wedding ring in December 2011 we all thought it was a bit odd. Just a few weeks later Russell Brand announced that they were headed to divorce. Maybe only watch this one with a box of tissues by your side.

5. One Direction - Kiss You

We. Love. One Direction. We would let them kiss us anyday, especially that dark horse Naill - here's the boys performing Kiss You at last year's final.
