Can You Recapture On-Screen Chemistry? Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper Reunite For THIRD Film Together

Are Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence contractually obliged to only work on projects together from this day forward? Well, it certainly looks that way as the genetically bless pair have filmed not one, not two but THREE films together in the last two years.

First there was Silver Lining’s Playbook. Who can forget Bradley and Jennifer’s over-whelming chemistry as Tiffany and Pat in the award winning movie about mental health? More than a few rumours emerged about the closeness of the co-stars relationship however Bradley – who has recently been dating British model Suki Waterhouse – poo-pooed them saying that he was old enough to be Jennifer’s father. NB: We think he and Jen should get it together – just saying.

Then there is Serena. The pair filmed this thriller set in 1929 in Prague (alright for some). In the film they George and Serena Pemberton, a young married couple, when Serena finds out she can’t have children she sets out to murder her husband’s illegitimate son. ‘I would love to do another one, but I’m sure she’s sick of me,’ Bradley said. ‘I’m sure we’ll work together again, but they’ll have to bring out a box set,’ Jennifer quipped.

And she's not wrong because the duo are now working on a yet-to-be-titled retro movie, again directed by David O’Russell. Bradley and Jennifer were recently photographed in Boston working on set of their third film together with both sporting some incredibly dodgy hair-dos.

But! Will it be the case of third times a charm? Or do you think they should Brad and Jen can't recapture that chemisty and should trying working with other people for a change? Let’s assess by looking at some other famous twosomes who aren't loved-up in real life but have worked together more than once…

1. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet

Near, far, wherever you are… Kate and Leo first stared together in Titanic, we don’t need to tell you the plot of that one, we’ve all seen it 6252 times. They later starred side by side again in Revolutionary Road. Kate has previously revealed that since they worked together, Leonardo has been one of her ‘closest friends’. It’s even thought that the Hollywook hunk gave her away at her recent wedding to Ned Rocknroll.

2. Matthew McConnaughy and Kate Hudson

If they weren’t so adorable with their respective partners we truly think that Matthew McConnaughy and Kate Hudson would have made the most adorable of couples as showcased in How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days and Fools Gold. In How To Lose A Guy..., Kate plays an advertising exec who tries to get a guy to dump her in ten days using all sorts of crazy methods.

3. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan

Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan were the original JLaw and B-Coop. They first starred in Joe Versus The Volcano (nope, us neither) before later filming You’ve Got Mail and Sleepless In Seattle. You’ve Got Mail, where a couple fall in love via the medium of email was what we imagine inspired today's online dating culture so well done for that, guys!

4. Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman

Jennifer and Jason (not to be mistaken for her fiancé JUSTIN) have combined their comedy talents for two films together.  In The Switch, Jennifer's character decides to have a baby by artificial insemination but unbeknown to her the donor is her best friend. Eek! Jen and JASON also stared in Horrible Bosses in which Jennifer plays er, a horrible boss. Now, if Internet rumours are anything to go by, they could be set to be reunited in Horrible Bosses 2. The question is, how much more horrible can she get?

5. Demi Moore and Rob Lowe

Demi Moore and Rob Lowe were part of what Hollywood types like to call the ‘brat pack’. Back in their hey-days they both worked on About Last Night, a film which chronicles the unconventional relationship of Debbie and Danny who get together after a one night stand. And St.Elmo’s Fire a coming of age story about college kids struggling with the idea of growing up. Ah, we’ve all be there.

So what say you? Are you a fan of on-screen couples reigniting the flame? Or should they just let it go? Let us know below...
