Oscars 2014: Leading Men Who've Hit The Red Carpet With Their Mum (Swoon!)

03 March 2014 by

Guess who Jared Leto, Leonardo DiCaprio and Michael Fassbender took to the Oscars? Not mega-hot super models. THEIR MUMS.

Jared won Best Supporting Actor at this year's Academy Awards for his role in Dallas Buyers Club and decided his mum Constance was the best person to take along for moral support.

The actor and musician shared a FaceTime screen grab of the moment he invited Constance to the awards on Instagram earlier this week. It showed him and his brother giggling as Constance can't hide her delight and is adorable!

'My mothers face when @shannonleto and I told her she was coming to the #Oscars with us! :),' he posted.

Another Best Supporting Actor who brought his parents along was Michael Fassbender, nominated for his part in 12 Years a Slave. This year's BSA (Best Supporting Actor) crew aren't the only stars to treat their parents to a trip down the red carpet.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Matthew McConaughey both walked the red carpet with the number one lady in their life. Leo's mum wore a sparkly frock for her trip into the Oscars where as Matt's momma Kathlene donned a white mini. Both leading men are no strangers to bringing their mothers to celebrity parties. Infact they regularly walk the red carpet with them.

Other boys who often choose their mums as their dates include Bradley Cooper's who brought his mum Gloria Campano to the Oscars last year, plus Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise have both taken their parents to award ceremonies before.
