It's World Laughter Day! We Picks Our Favourite Funny Films

Although every day is World Laughter Day for us, the official World Laughter Day is this Sunday (May 5th). To celebrate, Empire Cinemas have decided that the funniest film ever is… The Hangover.

What, like, ever, ever? Funnier than Annie Hall, The Apartment and Mean Girls funny? Hmmm, we’re not convinced. Still, we decided to poll the Grazia office and find out what everyone’s funniest flick was.

Wall-to-wall hilarity, it’s the combination of prime Eddie Murphy, Dan Akroyd and Jamie Lee Curtis, the sheer 80s-ness of the whole thing and fact it reminds of us Christmas that makes us want to have it on permanent loop.

The  reason I love this is threefold: Alec Baldwin plays Jack Donaghy MK1, Hank Azaria being French and spectacular and Philip Seymour Hoffman as Sandy, the fallen child actor, in his most Youtubeable role ever. Oh and Jennifer Aniston before we lost her to hot yoga.

A disclaimer: it’s not the funniest film I’ve ever seen. But I’m very pro the School of Stiller, so...
