Is Cheryl Cole Coming Back To The UK X Factor This Year?

Cheryl Cole X Factor return

Could Cheryl Cole have just given the biggest hint yet that she's set to rejoin the X Factor panel this year? This morning the singer posted a #tbt photograph of herself on the show - seemingly having a go at Simon Cowell. This picture came at the same time that it was revealed that Nicole Scherzinger may be leaving the show - which would potentially free up another space on the panel.

Much like every year rumours have been rife about who will be taking the judges seats for some time now however, with Simon himself confirming this week that Cheryl 'is' in talks to do the show, this is the closest we have come in years to her being back on our screens. Simon revealed at the Britain's Got Talent launch earlier this week,'I would love Cheryl to come back, I've got to persuade her now.'

He continued, 'To be fair to Cheryl, it hasn't been about the money with her. It's about whether she wants to do it and whether she can handle the pressure, so I'm not quite sure yet [if she will come back].' Well that's not a no is it...

Simon himself is also making a return to the show - it was recently revealed that the X Factor USA had been dropped. He said, 'The X Factor UK, I've always said it's kind of like my baby. I love doing the show. It has found some amazing people. I want to go back to where we left off in 2010 … if we do another year like that it'll be amazing.' Gary Barlow will not be making a return to the show after confirming last year that he is going to focus on his music this year.

According to some reports Cheryl will actually be meeting with X Factor bosses TODAY. Here's hoping they make an announcement soon after, we don't think we can wait much longer and here's also hoping that if Chez does come back, she doesn't end up with any contestants like this...
