Not content with just being (probably) the most collaborated-with artist of the year and having been announced as the host of MTV's show House of StyleIggy Azalea's clearly been bitten by the acting bug. Vin Diesel let slip in an interview that the rapper is confirmed to have a cameo in Fast & Furious 7, the latest installment in the action-packed blockbuster franchise. Maybe her Clueless-themed video for 'Fancy' got Iggy to thinking about making more of a splash in the film world?

Iggy Azalea Fast and Furious

Iggy posted a snap of her on set with Michelle Rodriguez, hinting at her role, and has since been snapped out and about with her new co-star. We’ll be heading to cinemas next year to see how the Aussie rapper holds her own against Hollywood heavyweights. It's as yet unconfirmed whether she'll be reprising her Cher Horowitz outfits for this, but we're certainly crossing fingers.

Of course, Iggy’s not the only one to make a crossover from music to film and it's got us thinking about our favourite female singers who’ve dipped their toes into Hollywood...

1. Rita Ora in Fast and Furious 6

Brit singer and Cara’s best mate, Rita Ora had a cameo in Fast and Furious 6, donning her racing leathers.

2. Gwen Stefani in The Aviator

Who could forget Gwen in The Aviator? It’s hard to detract attention from Leo but she sure gave it her best shot.

3. Rihanna in This Is The End

Rihanna had a moment in This is The End, proving the star can do more than just sing, dance and scandalise Instagram.

4. Britney Spears in Goldmember

And finally, Britney’s had many cameos, but her one in Austin Powers: Goldmember is particulary memorable.
