Highlights From The 2013 MTV Movie Awards - Rebel Wilson Steals The Show PLUS First Look At Hunger Games: Catching Fire Trailer

Just when you thought awards season had finally wrapped, the stars of the big screen did another lap around the red carpet, this time in honour of the 22nd MTV Movie Awards. But don't worry, this is the naughty little sister of its more glossy counterparts. With awards including Best Kiss and Best Shirtless Performance, we knew we were going to be in for a ruddy good time. It's fair to say we were not disappointed. Here's why...

1. Rebel Wilson raised the roof

We first fell in love with the unapologetic comedienne when she starred in Bridesmaids as Kristen Wiig's eccentric flatmate. She wowed us with her vocal prowess in Pitch Perfect and as well as proving to be a hilarious host at the awards last night (including sporting double nipples), she also scooped Best Breakthrough Performance and Best Musical Moment. High five.

2. Brad and Jen scoop the award for Best Kiss

No, not that Brad and Jen although the former was there to present Best Movie to the cast of The Avengers. We're talking about Hollywood's hottest non-couple, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence for their big pash in Silver Linings Playbook. The duo knocked Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart from the top spot after the Twilight twosome had won the award for the past four years running. In fact, their performance in Breaking Dawn Part 2 is the only Twilight movie not to get a Best Kiss award. Awkward.

3. More Silver Linings Love

We think after nabbing an Oscar, J-Law was always going to be a shoo-in for Best Female Performance but finally, Bradley Cooper's equally brilliant acting skills have finally landed him a gong. About time too.

4. Selena Gomez shows Justin Bieber what he's missing

Selena Gomez performed her new single Come And Get It and just in case ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber was in any doubt over what he was missing, she sure showed him. Weaving her magic on the crowd, the Spring Breakers actress and singer performed in a red Arabian ensemble. Hot.

5. Liam Hemsworth introduced the Hunger Games: Catching Fire teaser trailer

Probably one of the highlights of the night was when Liam Hemsworth stepped on stage to introduce the new teaser trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire which is released later this year on 22 November. The teaser does not disappoint with scenes of civil unrest following Katniss and Peter's deviance, a stolen kiss and sisterly bonds being tested to the max. We. Can't. Wait.

To watch the awards ceremony in full, tune in to MTV UK tonight at 9pm.
