It's been a turbulent past few weeks for the Geldof family after Peaches, 25, was found dead at her home in Kent in what is now suggested to be a heroin overdose. But there is some good news for the Geldof family with reports today emerging that older sister Fifi has gotten engaged.
Fifi 31, is set to wed her 33-year-old boyfriend Andrew Robertson with a friend reportedly revealing that the wedding will take place in July of next year. This comes just days after it was announced that dad Bob Geldof has asked his girlfriend of 18 years for her hand in marriage. 'The ring #boydonegood.' wrote Fifi, alongside a picture of her left hand adorned with a sparkly diamond ring.
Jerry Hall told the Daily Mail: "Bob has proposed. She [Jeanne Marie] is over the moon... Bob and Jeanne have been through hell, but they are determined something positive will come out of it. After all the sadness, we need something to focus on which will bring joy and light. I'm so happy for her. It makes you realise we all have to value what we have".
A coroner revealed that recent levels of heroin was 'likely' to have attributed to Peaches Geldof's death. The results of a toxicology report reveal that the 25-year-old had the drug in her system. The details emerged during an inquest in Gravesend, Kent after the post-mortem examination was deemed inconclusive. Peaches leaves behind two sons, Astala, who turned two on April 21, and Phedera, who turned one on April 24.
