You could be forgiven for thinking that the clumsy and accident prone Jennifer Lawrence has had a run-in with a tin of blue paint but no, this makeover was entirely deliberate. Filming scenes for her latest movie X-Men: Days Of Future Past (a sequel to the prequel in the hit sci-fi franchise), director Bryan Singer tweeted this awesome picture of J-Law all dolled up to play Mystique (a shape-shifter) with the caption, 'First look: #JenniferLawrence as a vengeful #Mystique. #XMen #DaysOfFuturePast'.
As costumes go, it doesn't leave much to the imagination but luckily, Jennifer Lawrence has the bod to pull it off. And it's not the first time we've seen her donning a skimpy blue ensemble. She also rocked the look in X-Men: First Class but with a slightly longer hairdo. However, after suffering an allergic reaction to the body paint used (it took eight hours to apply!), this time she was let off the hook. 'I'm so excited because I'm going to wear a body suit,' she told EOnline.com. 'It will be from (the) neck down so it will cut out time and the blisters.' Well, that's good to know.
We have over a year to wait before the film is released in the UK but fear not, Jen will be back on our screens before then reprising her role as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, out on 22 November. In fact, she was joined by her castmates Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson in Cannes for a spot of promo (aka a lovely big party). We're also super excited to see those amazing perms we caught a glimpse of on the set of American Hustle which sees Jen reunited with her Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley Cooper. We're not going to lie, we're psyched to see those two back on the red carpet come December. Think buckets of sizzling chemistry and a load more LOLs.
