The ever wonderful Emma Stone has given us another reason to visit New York (as if we need another). Today it has been reported that the Stone is in talks to make her Broadway debut, playing Sally Hughes in Cabaret.

Michelle Williams is playing the character till November - but will she be passing on her top hat to Emma? A spokesperson for Roundabout Theatre Company told Just Jared: 'I can confirm that Emma Stone is in negotiations to make her Broadway debut as Sally Bowles in Cabaret on Broadway at Roundabout Theatre Company.'

So will she be able to fill Liza Minnelli's jazz shoes? There are some big numbers on the set list including 'Life is a Cabaret' and 'Maybe This Time.' But if her moving rendition of Wannabe by the Spice Girls is anything to go by, we're sure she'll boss it. After all she started her career singing on the reality show The New Partridge Family.

We reckon she'll be able to master the art of the high kicks and jazz hands - well she did NAIL the Dirty Dancing lift with Ryan Gosling in Crazy, Stupid Love. Even if she lip syncs we're sure it'll be a roaring success.

Emma is the latest A Lister to have a go at Broadway. Take a look through the gallery below to see other stars who have headed for the bright lights...
