Disclosure's ‘Settle’ - 5 Things We Love About It

Is Settle the best dance album of the year that doesn’t involve French robots? We’re saying ‘yea, probs’. To accompany these exclusive pics of the Disclosure logo that was displayed on various London landmarks to promote the album, we’ve run down our 5 favourite things about the album

1) Jessie Ware

The two have collaborated on the great remix of ‘Running’ and now they’ve teamed up with Ms. Ware for Confess To Me a brilliant slice of smooth house.

2) Latch

The recent single is notable for a) staying in our heads basically forever b) having 2 choruses in one song (which is always amazing). The effect is rather brilliant.

3) White Noise

Pairing up with the ridiculously talent Aluna Francis and George Reid (aka Alunageorge) was a masterstroke. Aluna’s Minnie Mouse vocals complement the tinkling sonics to great effect.

4) Jamie Woon

Our favourite sleepy-eyed-laptop-troubadour (who’s not called ‘James’ or ‘Blake’) is Jamie Woon, and so it’s great to hear him team up with Disclosure and channelling his inner Prince on January.

5) Friendly Fires

FF’s Ed Macfarlane contributes vocals to the wibbly work out Defeated No More which is basically the best Friendly Fires remix that never happened. Again, rather brilliant.
