All week we've been celebrating all things Kate Moss, looking back at her funniest moments and her greatest interview moments. But - GASP - we've also been nattering about culture news other from Mossy, including Kylie's new tune and Destiny's Child reuniting yet again. So here's our roundup of culture news that you may have missed this week…
1) Watch the trailer for 'Blue Is The Warmest Colour'
Abdellatif Kechiche’s film has courted controversy due to the nature of its explicit sex scenes but it’s also drawn heaps of five-star reviews thanks to the way it meshes the epic with the intimate. It also picked up the Palm d’Or in Cannes which makes it a must-see.
2) Listen to Kylie Minogue’s new single
Woah! It sounds like Kylie has jettisoned her dance pop in favour of revisiting her R&B chanelling ‘Body Language’ era with 'Skirt', the first track to be released since she signed with Roc Nation. Minimalist and a little bit dubstep it was written by The-Dream.
3) Tilda Swinton gets vampy in 'Only Lovers Left Alive'
Stylised vampire fare from the cool-as-a-rockabilly-cucumber director Jim Jarmusch, featuring Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston playing er cool-as-cucumber vamps.
4) Destiny’s Child Reunite (Again!)
First we had the Superbowl, then ‘Nuclear’ and now Kelly, Michelle and someone who goes by the name of ‘Beyonce’ have given us a new track in the form of ‘You’ve Changed’. Um, can we have a new DC album please?
5) We Love The CBGB Poster
CBGB’s was the legendary New York club where the likes of Blondie, Talking Heads and The Ramones started off. Now the story of the club has been made into a film, featuring rising star Mickey Sumner as Patti Smith and Malin Akerman as Debbie Harry. We can’t wait.
