We had only just started to get used to the idea of little Kaidence Donda West, after MediaTakeout claimed on Tuesday that a nurse at Los Angeles' Cedars Sinai Hospital, where Kim Kardashian gave birth last Saturday night, had tipped them off about the name of the reality star's newborn baby. Now TMZ have put an end to intense speculation about the offspring with the revelation that they have witnessed a signed birth certificate by Kim, 32, and her partner rapper Kanye, 36.
And the real name of the baby...? North West with the nickname 'Nori' for short. Well you'd be crying out for a nickname if your parents were cruel enough to name you after a compass point, wouldn't you? The moniker was previously suggest as a possibility, but quickly dismissed as a joke by Kardashian fans. We wonder why!
Honestly, we're quite disappointed that it doesn’t begin with a 'K', although Kim's sister Kourtney also strayed from family tradition, calling her children with boyfriend Scott Disick, Mason and Penelope.
On a recent appearance on 'The Tonight Show', Kim told host Jay Leno: "I do like Easton, Easton West." Well at least they didn't go for West West. That would have been ridiculous.
