Amy Poehler And Tina Fey Are Going To Play 'Saucy Sisters'! Here Are Their 10 Funniest Moments

09 April 2014 by

We have amazing news for Saturday Night Live fans, Mean Girls lovers and people who just generally have any sense of humour - Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are going to star in a movie together! The BFFs and comedy champions are teaming up for new film The Nest.  In the movie - which they're both producing - the besties star as two thirtysomething sisters who return home after hearing their parents have put their childhood home up for sale. Devastated by the news, the 'saucy' siblings decide to spend one last crazy weekend together in their home town, and all hell lets loose.

It's not the first time the pair have appeared in a film together, Amy and Tina teamed up for joint effort Baby Mama in 2008 and of course had key roles in 2004's Mean Girls alongside Lindsay Lohan - Amy as our fave 'cool mom' and Tina as our fave 'drug-pushing teacher'.

The besties met in an improvisation class nearly 20 years ago, before going on to become Saturday Night Live faves alongside Jimmy Kimmel. Spoofing the news alongside celebrity guests, highlights of their time on the show include their incredible impersonations of Hilary Clinton and Sarah Palin. While recently the comedianshave gone solo in TV shows Parks and Recreation and 30 Rock, they've been joining forces to present awards shows - including a *hilarious* appearance at this year's Golden Globes.

Here are Amy and Tina's 10 funniest moments EVER.
