In a work slump right now? Welcome to #PlayTime, Grazia Daily's music feature bringing you a different hot track every day of the week. From just-dropped music premieres to cool covers and throwback classics, its the new soundtrack to your afternoon.
Nottingham-born singer Indiana is one to watch - this summer she's hitting the festival circuit performing at Bestival and Wireless. Her new single 'Heart On Fire' was debuted on Zane Lowe's show in May as his 'Hottest Record.' You can watch it here...
We asked Indiana to pick the soundtrack to her life…
1. Song you always dance to and why
Major Lazer featuring Amber of Dirty Projectors - Get Free. Ambers vocal stuns me ad I am in awe of this chorus. I can only dance to this song, I need to hear her voice so I don't sing along. I did not mean for that last bit to rhyme!
2. Song you get ready to and why
Too Lazy - Daypayk & Padberg. I can be pretty lazy but this song makes me want to go out.
3. Song that you work out to and why
Etta James - I Just Wanna Make Love To You. I worked out to Etta James today. My favourite of her songs is 'I'd Rather Go Blind' but this one got me through a few some hard reps earlier. Thinking about that Diet Coke ad?
4. Festival anthem and why
Outkast - Roses. I just saw them at Wireless - me and my band watched their set together. It was unreal, we lost our voices.
5. Song you hate and why
Lily Allen - URL Badman. I know what she's getting at but one line in a song would have done it. A whole song about it though… it's just annoying.
6. First song you fell in love with and why
Jackson 5 - Who's Loving You. I remember trying to hit those notes when I was a little girl. Still can't.
7. Song that always makes you happy and why
Oasis - Champagne Supernova. My Dad was a huge Oasis fan, I have vivid memories of him singing this at the top of his lungs with the patio doors wide open so the whole world could hear. I used to sing along with him and thought the lyric was 'champagne souping over'.
8. Song you fall asleep to and why
Active Child - Holding On. The harp is so dreamy and along with Pat Grossi's delicate vocals. It's perfect bedtime listening.
9. Song you put on to impress people and why
New Look - Nap On The Bow. Because some people still haven't heard of them and I like introducing people to new music.
10. Song that defines you and why
Kavinsky - Nightcall. I hate describing myself but this defines my artistic nature well… Sinister and sexy, 80's influenced, synth-lead electronica.
