What's less exciting than a new Beyonce track but more exciting than a new non-Beyonce related track? You guessed it, a Beyonce remix. And this one is everything you could ever want and more.
UK duo I AM A CAMERA have reworked Beyonce's emotional single 'Pretty Hurts' into an Ibiza style dancefloor filler. They've kept the tearjerking lyrics but laid them over a more uptempo beat. FYI - We can totally see ourselves dancing to/screeching the lyrics to this as the lights are turned on in a club. There's group hug potential too.
While lots of the remixes of tracks from Bey's newest album are unapproved by the lady herself (read MIA), this one's totally official. In fact Queen Bee's people got in touch with the duo to ask them to make it.
'The remix came about because we were contacted by Beyoncé's musical curator who had heard our songs and asked for an I AM A CAMERA version of "Pretty Hurts",' the band say. 'Beyoncé is one of our favourite artists of all time and a true icon, so to get this remix is beyond exciting for us. Working with Beyoncé's vocals has got to be one of the most surreal and exciting moments in our career so far. Surfboard.'
In other Beyonce news - the singer's just extended her line of lyric-emblazoned T-shirts and jumpers to include two tees featuring emojis. The tops cost around £23 and come in black and white. One of them has 'SURFBOARD' written across the bottom and the actual surfing emoji on either sleeve. The other says 'BLOW' and features cherry emojis. Cheeky.
