5 Things To Do This Weekend... Watch Small Apartments, Read Requiem

1. Watch... The Winslow Boy

Theatre lovers will not be disappointed with a trip to the Old Vic to see The Winslow Boy. Based on a true story, Terrence Rattigan’s play focuses on a family fighting to prove their son’s innocence after he’s expelled from the navy for stealing a five shilling postal order. Though its set in Edwardian times and features a suffragette, the struggle over the rights of an individual versus the state under the media’s glare proves to be quite poignant even today.
