5 Things To Do This Weekend: Watch 'Saving Mr Banks', Go To Winter Wonderland And More

Stuck for things to do this weekend? Here's our list of things to do...

1) Head to your local cinema and watch Saving Mr Banks

A charming film that shows the untold story of how P.L.Travers’ novel ‘Mary Poppins’ was adapted by Disney into the film that we still know and love today. Both practically perfect in every way, Tom Hanks plays the role of Walt Disney whilst Emma Thompson takes on the role of P.L.Travers.

2) Head to Winter Wonderland

One of the biggest events in the UK of its kind. Highlights include the breath taking ice rink, a giant wheel and a circus. There will also be Bavarian style bars-think of it as Oktober fest but on your doorstep, and a whole lot more festive. It runs from 10am to 10pm daily. Great for all the family so smiles all round! 3) Grab a bargain at The London Designer Sale

Head down to Hampstead town hall this weekend for your chance to get up to 80% off top designer brands, including Jimmy Choo and Yves Saint Laurent. Hurry though-Sunday is the last day of this sale!

4) Buy an advent calendar

There’s nothing like a piece of chocolate a day to keep the winter blues at bay! Advent calendars are no longer restricted for the kids y’know. We’re lusting over this beauty at La Maison Du Chocolat. Pick yours just in time for Sunday.

5) Pop out to Kensal Flea

Kensal Green is holding its own Flea market-and you’re invited! A great place to eat, shop and socialize. This Saturday 30th November, from 11-5:30pm.
