Which loved-up stars do we long to see on the ulimate red carpet - aka the aisle - next year? Click through the gallery for our top 5 suggestions...

1. Kim and Kanye

When the proposal alone involves booking out an entire baseball stadium, hiring a 50-piece orchestra and the small matter of a ring costing a rumoured $8m, it’s unlikely the wedding will be a quick registry affair with a cold buffet. We. Can’t. Wait.

Most likely to: See the bridegroom’s speech lasting upwards of an hour, and involve comparisons between himself and Jesus.

2. Jen and Justin

It’s been a year-and-a-half since Justin Theroux made us all the happiest women on earth, by proposing to Jen-Ann. Now come on guys, enough teasing, set the date!

Most likely to: See Louis Theroux looking for new celebrities to feature in his documentaries. Steer well clear, Courtney Cox!

3. Harry and Cressida

If possible, we’re potentially even more excited about this love match than we were with Kate and Wills. Her shiny hair! His party-hard ways! The potential for a national holiday!

Most likely to: Involve the bride wearing a white, satin scrunchie, and (slightly less likely) the bridegroom initiate a game of naked billiards.

4. Perrie and Zayn

They’ve claimed it’s unlikely they’ll have time for 2014 nuptials, but we think it’s a way to put us off the scent. Unfortunately for the pop-pairing, we’re like wedding-seeking bloodhounds.

Most likely to: End with Little Mix, and possibly Harry Styles, holding each other’s hair back. We’ve all been there.

5. Katy and John

When you’re that genetically blessed, it would be a crime not to get hitched. We’re also hopping for the pitter-patter of tiny pop stars. In your face, Russell.

Most likely to: Include the bride – breasts alight - jumping into her cake.
