Our Top 5 Highlights From The Sound Of Change Concert: Beyonce Performs With Jay-Z And Jenny From The Block Returns

Oh what a night! After much anticipation and endless A-listers added to the bill, the 2013 Sound Of Change concert took place at London's Twickenham Stadium yesterday. Grazia Daily was there to enjoy the show and with Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Rita Ora among the performers and the likes of Blake Lively, Jessica Chastain and James Franco presenting, it was quite the star-studded spectacle. The charity gig is part of Gucci's new global campaign for girls' and women's empowerment and was broadcast across six continents to over 150 countries with no less than one billion people tuning in. Phewf! In case you weren't one of them - or if you just want to relive the extravanganza - check out our favourite moments below...

1. Madonna started a revolution of love

'Please listen to me!' Madge called as she took to the stage. Dressed head to toe in black, the songstress spoke passionatley about her next mission. 'I keep telling people I want to start a revolution, but my revolution doesn't involve bloodshed and violence,' she told the crowds. 'My revolution is about achieving a higher level of consciousness, but this cannot start without education. We cannot change this world, nor begin to treat each other with human dignity, without an education. Let tonight be the beginning of this revolution because education is not a luxury, it is a basic human right.' Amen to that!

2. Blake Lively was the cutest BFF

The Gossip Girl star and frequent Gucci-wearer had the responsibility of welcoming Florence + The Machine to the stage - but rather than scuttling away after a quick intro, Blake beamed with pride when her bestie appeared. In fact, she stayed put to watch the entire performance. As Florence belted out the hits while swathed in a floaty green gown, Blake could be seen tapping along from the side of the stage, even jumping up and down in her pink Louboutins. And who should join her? None other than hubby Ryan Reynolds. We swoon.

3. Jennifer Lopez took us back to the block

Also chiming for change was one J-Lo. The 43-year-old cranked things up a notch when she appeared in a pair of leather studded thigh-high boots teamed with fishnet tights and a saucy spangly leotard. But forget the outfit - she took us back in time by performing some of her greatest hits including 'Get Right', 'Love Don't Cost A Thing' and, of course, 'Jenny From The Block'. As if La Lopez wasn't diva enough, Mary J Blige put in an unexpected appearance and joined J-Lo for 'Come Together'. Cue a LOT of booty shaking.

4. Beyonce stole the show

It was always a given that there would be one lady stealing the show: Mrs Beyonce Carter. 'Do my girls run this motha?' she asked her squealing fans before launching into a mesmirising performance of 'Who Run The World (Girls)'. She also did Whitney Houston proud when she treated us to a tear-jerking rendition of 'I Will Always Love You' and - phwoar! - didn't she look fantastic in that leather leotard? It's certainly one way to hush those pregnancy rumours.

5. Jay-Z made our hearts melt

But this was the moment that really made the crowd go wild. As Beyonce performed 'Crazy In Love', the arena was buzzing with excitement: would her hubby appear to perform his part of the duet? As you may have heard, he did! Screams erupted as he flung his arm around his missus before giving her a kiss on the cheek. Ahhh! Watch the magic in the video below...
