Within minutes of Kate Middleton and Prince William announcing they are expecting, the world went truly #royalbaby bonkers. So what does everyone do following the news of a royal offspring? Here are our top 10 reactions to the big news...

1. Royal baby pictures
Images have already been cropping up online of what the royal baby will look like, by merging pictures of Kate and Wills. Creepy.
2. Twitter account
Royal baby Twitter accounts were up and running just minutes after the big news was announced, joining Pippa's Tips, the Queen and all the other fake royal tweeters. We have @RoyalFoetus tweeting from inside the womb (weird we know) and @IAmRoyalBaby. Speaking of spoof tweeters, the best tweet of the bunch came from Voldemort:

3. Delve in the Royal Archives
Every picture of K-Midz holding her tummy, Wills holding a baby and them playing hockey with kids has been dug up.

4. The name
Will it be a Diana or Rihanna? Oddschecker.com say John and Robert are the two favourites for a boy, whilst its 12/1 that they will name their child Charles. For a girl Anne and Frances are 12/1 favourites. We've been making our own predictions over here at Grazia HQ about the name of the royal baby and we think at number one it's Diana, number two it's Singapore and number three, Rihanna.
5. Cheryl and the Kardashians send their congrats
The news went viral on Twitter in minutes, with lots of celebrities sending over their congrats including Kim Kardashian and Cheryl. The royals must be oh-so pleased.

David Cameron also tweeted his congrats:

6. Photoshop
Twitter and instagram are already filled with photoshopped snaps of the royal couple (including the first ultrasound). Anyone else think it's going to be a long few months?

7. Thoughts go to Diana
How would Diana react is a question that's been flying around in the last 24 hours. A bit of a silly question if you ask us, of course she'd be pleased. Perez Hilton tweeted: "I can't help but think of Diana right now! *tears* RT Kate Middleton Is Pregnant! News Confirmed By The Palace!!!!!!!" Here at Grazia HQ we looked back at Diana's top pregnancy style rules.
8. Tally up how influential the baby will be
Months before the baby was even conceived a poll by LondonPRagency.com found that the royal baby will be the most famous baby on earth, above those tots who had actually been born let alone conceived, including Blue Ivy (in at number 2) and Harper Seven (in at number 3).
9. Boy or girl
Everyone is trying to guess the name, the due date and even the HAIR COLOUR. Girl or boy? Blonde or brunette? Brown or green eyes?

10. Middleton maternity wear
Will she go for the tent look like Diana? Or the maternity McQueen look like Sarah Burton? Tweeps have already been dishing out their top tips of where to buy the best maternity jeans, maternity gowns and even... maternity knickers.
