Is This The Best Ever Celebrity Photobomb? Beyonce Surprises A Fan At Concert

30 October 2013 by

What do Cara Delevingne, Kelly Clarkson, Anne Hathaway and er, Eastenders' star Sid Owen, all have in common? They've all joined the photobombing craze, muscling in on other people's snapshots. You know when you've spent ages getting in position, plumping your hair, perfecting your pout, and then you get your photos developed look at your camera - and there's some 'hilarious' joker in the background grinning inanely in your shot? Yep, that.

Here's one that we reckon won't get any complaints courtesy of Beyonce. The songstress brilliantly 'bombed a fan's selfie during her concert in Australia last week by bobbing down to pose in the snap. Ah-maze! 'OMG OMG OMG I can't believe it happened to me!' the excited teen wrote on Tumblr. 'It was such a blur, I just remember her bending down to me and my friend and I just turned for the photo and wowoowow it was the best moment ever! Like she posed, it's crazy I wasn't even expecting her to look at my phone or notice me in the crowd.' Well, she sounds pretty chuffed.

Anne Hathaway was another celebrity who's had a go, popping up behind Zero Dark Thirty actor Harold Perrineau in a picture taken at a pre-Oscars bash. To be fair, Anne Hathaway has a very nice face...we'd be happy to have her in our shot. In fact, Grazia has got a lot of time for photobombing...a few staff members have even joined in the craze - some more deliberate than others.

So check out our gallery of celebrity photobombs below, with a few of us thrown in for good measure...

GALLERY >> 10 Best Photobombs

1. Anne Hathaway photobombs Harold Perrineau

Most discussion about Zero Dark Thirty has been dominated by three things - Jessica Chastain's performance, the controversy over the torture scenes, and John Barrowman's unlikely cameo. So Harold Perrineau, who plays a CIA agent in the film, was probably pretty chuffed that someone finally asked for his picture. Finally, his chance to shine...and then Anne Hathaway appears.

2. Kelly Clarkson photobombs Ellen Degeneres & Portia De Rossi

Look at Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi, having such a lovely time at the Grammys, smiling obligingly for a picture, totally unaware of the danger of an American Idol winner lurking in the background...

3. Cara Delevingne photobombs Jourdan Dunn & Karlie Kloss

You can't open a newspaper or magazine without seeing a picture of Cara Delevingne at the moment...and now she's muscling in on other people's photos too. The cheek.

4. Sid Owen photobombs Chris Brown

Looking at pictures of Chris Brown is not something we normally like to waste much time on. But when Sid Owen pops up in the background...well, we could look at it all day.

5. Stingray photobombs holidayers

It might not have been a celebrity beforehand, but as soon as this picture went online, this stingray became one of the biggest stars of the internet. Our favourite part? The woman grinning with glee in the background.

6. Grazia's Jessica Vince photobombs Andy Murray

And it's not just the stars! Here's Grazia web editor Jess (on the right) lurking behind tennis star Andy Murray and his girlfriend Kim Sears (on the left) at the Burberry show last September. Go get 'em!

7. Grazia's Clare Thorp photobombs Harry Styles

Grazia's Clare Thorp was extremely excited to be in the same room as Harry Styles at a Brits after-show party this week...and even more excited to discover there was photographic evidence. So what if her back is to the camera? IT STILL COUNTS AS A PICTURE WITH HARRY STYLES. The chap behind is taking a more traditional approach to photobombing.

8. Grazia's Emily Maddick photobombs Kate Moss

Here's Grazia's News Editor Emily Maddick hanging out at the British Fashion Awards in November 2011. Oh, and some birds called Kate Moss and Stella McCartney, too.

9. Grazia's Lily Russo photobombs Mollie King

Here's Grazia's Shopping Editor Lily Russo on the left at a John Pierre Braganza fashion show earlier this month - looking rather suspicious of The Saturdays' Mollie King on the FROW.

10. Grazia's Zoe Beaty photobombs Gazza

Photobombing isn't always glamorous, kids. Here's Grazia's senior feature writer Zoe Beaty getting caught in the cross fire of Gazza passing by. Doesn't she look quite happy about it, though?

Rachel Murphy (Fri Feb 22 20:47:30 GMT 2013): this was a really great post until you included your staff.
Caroline Ritchie (Tue Feb 26 23:30:56 GMT 2013): The stingray isn't a photobomb - it's the whole point of the picture! It was taken at Stingray City, which is a sandbar off Grand Cayman to which crowds of tourists are taken in boats to walk around and have their pictures taken with the stingrays, which are fed by the boat operators. They also make money out of taking and selling pictures of the tourists on their boat with a stingray that they have caught. You can just ee the top of the head of the man holding the stingray. I have one just like it - not sure I'm proud of it.
Re Her (Wed Oct 30 21:19:14 GMT 2013): Yeah and most of them weren't even real photo bombs - they have to be intentional.
