#PlayTime: Meadowlark Perform An Exclusive Live Session Of Dreamy Track 'Family Tree’

In a bit of a work slump right now? Welcome to #PlayTime, Grazia Daily's new music feature bringing you a different hot track every day of the week. From just-dropped music premieres to cool covers and throwback classics, its the new soundtrack to your afternoon.

We know how it is: you've had a morning jam-packed with chaotic meetings, you're email inbox is filling up rapidly and you still have that mega report to file. Stressful. But before you reach for multiple double-shot americanos, treat yourself to a five minute time out.

We promise this live session from Plymouth band Meadowlark is exactly what you need to wash away office mania. Their performance of track ‘Family Tree’ is the kind of audio-experience that makes you stop, gawk and imagine you're on loooooong country walk.

Lead singer and songwriter Kate McGill's dreamy vocals are delicate and emotional in the video - no surprise, as used to be a mega YouTube music sensation (13th most subscribed to be exact) before she joined the band. The clip captures her performing the track alongside bandmates Carl Jones and Daniel Broadley at the picturesque Cripps Barn in Cirencester.

The group's new four-track EP 'The Three Six Five' is out on May 26 and are heading off on tour of the coming weeks. Want to catch them performing? You can see them in Oxford,  Leeds, Nottingham, Manchester, Birmingham, London and Bristol throughout May.
