#PlayTime: Let Lorde's Little Sister Soothe Your Tube Strike Stress

05 February 2014 by

India Yelich O'Connor, Lorde

In a bit of a work slump right now? Welcome to #PlayTime, Grazia Daily's new music feature bringing you a different hot track every day of the week. From just-dropped music premieres to cool covers and throwback classics, its the new soundtrack to your afternoon.

Our track of the day is a rough-and-ready number from Lorde's little sister India Yelich O'Connor.  The 15-year-old has recorded a deliciously soothing cover of a track called 'Say Something', originally performed by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera.

Sombre and seriously chilled-out, musical talent clearly runs the O'Connor family. It's the kind of track that leaves you feeling like you've had a full 10-hours sleep and is definitely one to put on your iPhone before facing the tube strike or rush hour commuter madness later this afternoon.

Need more #PlayTime? Check out Miley Cyrus' raunchy cover of Arctic Monkeys' 'Why D'You Only Call Me When I'm High'.

Oh, and here's India meeting Katy Perry..
