Today we've got something special for you. What better way to start your week than by watching Lily Allen perform Beyonce in drag....
The Brit singer had a gig at GAY in London this weekend and - as well as racing through a different outfit change for each track - got dressed up as Queen B to lip-sync 'Drunk In Love'.
Lily sported a blonde bob wig, a black bikini and a sheer floorlength cover-up for the track. Joined by scantily clad dancers sporting 'SHEEZUS' necklaces, she writhed around on stage as she had a bucket of water poured over her.
The soaked and steamy show echoed Bey's video for the track. The original 'Drunk In Love' vid shows Queen B hanging out on the beach with husband Jay Z. She rolls around in the sand and dances in the sea while wearing an outfit almost identical to Lily's.
As well as dressing up as Beyonce for the gig, Lily name-dropped the singer in recent track 'Sheezus'. 'RiRi isn't scared of Katy Perry's roaring/ Queen B's going back to the drawing,' she sings.
Lily took to Twitter last night to insist that neither reference should be interpreted as her 'mocking' the superstar.
'Each time I play GAY I do a cover in drag. 1st time I did Dorothy, last time Britney, thus tone Queen Bey. Why do people jump to conclusions,' she tweeted. 'I wasn't mocking Beyoncé , like I wasn't dissing anyone on #SHEEZUS , this is so fucking boring.'
It does seem like the move could have something to do with Lily's views on female artists being grouped together just because their girls. She recently told Rolling Stone: 'I don’t like being put in the same category as people because we have the same genitals and boobs. Nobody is going to write “Lily Allen vs. Ed Sheeran.”'.
We wonder what Lily's next controversial move will be?
