#PlayTime: Kiesza Picks The 5 Tracks That *Always* Get Her On The Dancefloor

24 April 2014 by

In a bit of a work slump right now? Welcome to #PlayTime, Grazia Daily's new music feature bringing you a different hot track every day of the week. From just-dropped music premieres to cool covers and throwback classics, its the new soundtrack to your afternoon.

Kiesza's incredible track 'Hideaway' topped the official UK singles chart on Sunday. The hit is the kind of pop gold you can't help singing along to… or dancing. In the video for the single, Kiesza shows off some killer moves as she bumps into different troops of dancers while making her way down a road.

The singer told Grazia that she started doing ballet when she was just three years old, before falling in love with other types of dance.

'House dance is my favourite club style. Especially since living in New York. It’s so free, that’s why I love it,' she says. 'In the Hideaway video we played with a lot with my favorite 90's hip hop moves. We HAD to do the running man of course. That's definitely a favourite.'

Since Kiesza's such a dance pro we asked her to pick her ultimate dance playlist. Whether you're getting ready to hit the club, getting psyched at the gym or having a boogy while making dinner, these tracks will get you moving.

1. Haddaway - 'What Is Love'

'It always gets me dancing!'

2. Zhu - 'Faded’

'It’s pretty haunting and chill. There’s something really sexy about it. I love the vocals on this track, it’s addictive.'

3. Route 94 feat Jess Glynne - ‘My Love’

4. Duke Dumont - ‘I Got You’

'Both of these tracks just simply make me move.'

5. The Fugees - ‘Killing Me Softly With His Song’

'I love this track, it gets me grooving in a different way.'

Want to show off your dancing skills? Head to London’s Electrowerkz on May 22 to see Kiesza live.
