Grazia Daily went to see Beyonce at the O2 Arena in London yesterday and we can honestly describe the gig as one of the best nights of our lives.
We know everyone's always like 'Oh, Beyonce's such a goddess!' but seriously she's geniunely FLAWLESS. She has the stamina, figure, power-vocals, sparkly wardrobe and dance moves of an ACTUAL other-worldly being.
At one point she performed the saucy chaise-longue dance from the 'Partition' video LIVE and showed off insane core strength as she slid up and down a chair. Another time she dutty-whined to 'Baby Boy' and we squealed (a lot). Then she covered 'And I Will Always Love You', sprayed us in golden confetti and wore a NUDE SPARKLING CATSUIT.
It was two hours of screaming, jaw-dropping and shedding the odd tear (to 'Halo' obv). At one point the lights went up and we could see a whole stadium of people doing the 'to the left' hand gesture from 'Irreplacable'. Emosh.
Obviously the surprise arrival of Jay Z was the main highlight of the night. We'd heard rumours he was going to make an appearance to perform 'Drunk In Love' but when Bey got all the way to the lyric 'Armand de Brignac, gangster wife' and he still hadn't arrived we were starting to get disheartened.
When he finally hit the stage to start his rap it was amazing, thrilling and adorable all at the same time. (At that point Team Grazia grasped each other's hands in excitement.) Jay may have done an awkward juggling hand gesture while rapping the line 'breast-as-es' BUT he also gave Bey a mega-cute hug before leaving the stage, whispering in her ear.
To celebrate the mega-cute performance, here are our fave Bey and Jay collaborations.
1. 'Crazy In Love', obvs
2. 'Bonnie And Clyde'
3. 'Upgrade You'
4. 'Déjà Vu'
5. 'Drunk In Love'
