#PlayTime: It's *Finally* Sunny So We Got The 2 Bears To Pick Their Ultimate Summer Playlist

16 May 2014 by

In a bit of a work slump right now? Welcome to #PlayTime, Grazia Daily's new music feature bringing you a different hot track every day of the week. From just-dropped music premieres to cool covers and throwback classics, its the new soundtrack to your afternoon.

You've got two very big reasons to be happy right now. 1. It's finally sunny in the UK. 2. It's almost the weekend. Woop! We can't wait for a couple of days of park frollicking, beer garden boozing and maybe a night out or too. But if there's not a huge Cheshire cat grin on your face already, we've got the perfect thing to cheer you up.

With festival season right around the corner, we've asked our fave DJs The 2 Bears to pick their favourite summer tunes. They're playlist is the perfect soundtrack to get ready to before heading out to party on a summer's evening (aka TONIGHT). Love the boys' taste in music? Check them out at Green Man festival later this summer.

1. Sounds Of Blackness - 'The Pressure (Frankie Knuckles Classic Mix)'

'Been digging out lots of Frankie in tribute to the great man. This is a pretty much perfect house record. Music for days and days.'

2. Hercules & Love Affair - 'Do You Feel The Same (Derrick Carter Remix)'

'Deadly Derrick Carter from Chicago remixes the new one from Hercules and Love Affair and it's a blinder.'

3. The Beatles - 'Here Comes The Sun'

'I heard 2 Many DJ's play this at their Despacio party at the Roundhouse a few weeks ago. They lit up the biggest mirror ball I've ever seen. It was a magic moment and it reminded me how much I love George Harrison and this song.'

4. The 2 Bears - 'Angel (Touch Me)'

'Bit of own-trumpet blowing here but I'm really looking forward to hearing this outdoors on a big sound system this summer. You might catch me singing along.'

5. Poisonous Relationship - 'Men's Feelings'

'This came out last year but I only just heard it last week, it's absolutely brilliant. I think Poisonous Relationship is one guy from Glasgow, I need to find out more though. This is a deep vocal house track with a brilliant lyric.'
