[BBC Radio 1]
In a bit of a work slump right now? Welcome to #PlayTime, Grazia Daily's new music feature bringing you a different hot track every day of the week. From just-dropped music premieres to cool covers and throwback classics, its the new soundtrack to your afternoon.
Haim headed to BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge today to play their great new single 'If I Could Change Your Mind', but more importantly they also covered Beyonce's - 'XO'.
Bey sang the track live for the first time at the BRIT Awards just last week in her gorgeous sparkly gown. She gave it welly - belting out a full-on, emotional, dramatic, all-guns-blazing version of the track. Haim's cover is more low-key. The LA trio swap power vocals for guitars and lasy vibes in their live performance - and we LOVE it.
In other Bey related news, have you discovered this awesome 'Soundboardt' soundboard yet? The pink, white and black site has 22 buttons, each playing a different sound from Beyonce's self-titled album. (Unfortunately it's not embeddable so you'll have to head over to actual site to have a go.)
There's a noise for every occasion. Your man says you're looking hot today? Play 'I woke up like this'. A pal brings up Dirty Dancing? Whip out 'watermelon'. Drop your croissant while running for the tube? 'No no no no' is the ideal response.
