#PlayTime: Chanel's Paris Fashion Week Playlist Is The New Soundtrack To Our Life

04 March 2014 by

In a bit of a work slump right now? Welcome to #PlayTime, Grazia Daily's new music feature bringing you a different hot track every day of the week. From just-dropped music premieres to cool covers and throwback classics, its the new soundtrack to your afternoon.

Somebody get Karl Lagerfeld some DJ decks pronto, the designer knows how to get a party started. His Autumn Winter 2014 collection for Chanel hit the runway this afternoon, modelled in the brand's very own supermarket by the likes of Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner.

Filled with the likes of Eau de Chanel water, Cambon Jambon and Le 9 de Chanel eggs the supermarket was absolute GENIUS. And the soundtrack to our dream food shopping experience? None other than the best party playlist of all time. (No exaggeration.) Featuring Lady Gaga and R. Kelly, Karl's clothes hit the runway to utter poptastic brilliance.

The highlight? It had to be blast-from-the-past Rihanna - 'S.O.S' which was played while the singer enjoyed the show from the front row. (We wonder if BFF Cara had something to do with that?) Karl told Grazia Daily he's a big fan of Rihanna's music as well as Lady Gaga's, but the show was actually sound styled by French DJ. Michel Gaubert.
