What To Do This Weekend: Day of the Dead Festival & For A Good Time, Call

Go to a gallery

It’s not often you see an exhibition featuring two artists who’ve lived two centuries apart, but Hockney to Hogarth: A Rake’s Progressdoes just that. David Hockney used his experience of America in the ‘60s as the influence behind his series which follows William Hogarth’s tale of a corrupt merchant’s son.

Until 3 Feb, Whitworth Art Gallery, Oxford Road, Manchester, whitworth.manchester.ac.uk
