Cheryl Cole: The Chat Show? Could She Be The New Oprah Winfrey?

Cheryl Cole

Her X Factor stint may have been and gone but Cheryl isn’t done with her TV career just yet.

The pop star is in talks with Sky 1 to host her very own chat show and apparently the channel are ‘desperate to sign her up’ and make her ‘the new Oprah Winfrey.’ Now, that’s something we’ll be tuning into.

But what can we expect from Chezza’s very own chat show? Will her famous pals Gary Barlow and Will i.am. or her Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle appear as guests,? Or even – gasp – Prince Harry?

Will she take the opportunity to grill Simon Cowell? If you remember, he famously axed Cheryl her role as a judge on the US X Factor after just four rounds of auditions. Whilst she has since said that the two have reconciled their differences, two haven’t appeared on air together since.

Will Cheryl open the show by singing her latest tunes? Who will style her outfits each week? Can Grazia be in the studio audience?! So many questions.

Cheryl is no stranger to the chat-show-sofa, having appeared regularly on Alan Carr: Chatty Man, Jonathan Ross and Graham Norton. She even famously revealed all about her battle with malaria and breakdown to her marriage with Ashley Cole on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories in 2010 [see our clips below].

A source told the Daily Mail: 'Cheryl’s people think she would come across brilliantly. On X Factor she found it easy to connect with people, and viewers loved her for it.'

We couldn’t agree more.
