Our Olympic and Paralympic Heroes Say A Final Farewell In The London 2012 Parade

It's been emotional - and now, we're sad to admit, the parade through London yesterday signified the end of Summer 2012. The Olympics are officially... Over (sob). We're not quite ready to let go... She was the golden girl of the Olympics after winning gold in spectacular fashion for the heptathlon – and it was only right that she should lead the final parade for London 2012. ‘We’ve had so much support through the past few weeks, every session was filled with cheering British fans,’ Jess said yesterday. ‘So now to come out and see another huge crowd and thank everyone is going to be really special for all of us.’
