Yes, we want to eat this too
It’s got delicious cake. It’s got super-rich ganache. And it’s got the dreamy, tank top-clad contestant James Morton.
And now BBC2’s Great British Bake Off just got even better (no, we didn’t think it was possible either) thanks to, er, bingo.
Avid followers of the cookery show – including us – are going online and taking to Twitter to play ‘bake off bingo’.
The rules are easy – simply tweet when you hear one of the key words like ‘soggy bottom’, ‘under baked’ and ‘beautifully moist’. Whoever tweets first, wins.
James Morton = hot baker
And for those of you who don’t mind a hangover on a school night, there’s also an alcoholic version with the option of sipping (yes, we said SIPPING) your drink each time Paul Hollywood or Mary Berry say one of their famous phrases.
We personally prefer taking a huge bite of cake each time we hear the bingo words. Now all we need is James to come over and bake for us…
So you think you can bake? Tickets are available now for the Cake & Bake Show – with special guest appearances from Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood – at London’s Earls Court from 22-23 September.
