We Celebrate Nora Ephron At Grazia's Film Club: 5 Writers Reveal What Nora Meant To Them

Antonia Quirke, film critic and Film 2012 presenter

So often films get celebrated and talked about and win all the prizes ….but nobody digs them out to watch. Nobody stays up late with the half bottle of white wine they found in the door of the fridge to catch it on Channel 5 despite the maddening advert breaks. But people DO stay up for the heart melting moment in Sleepless in Seattle when the two stars actually meet. Hell, I’ll stay up for Ephron's Silkwood (her best script) and that’s all about a nuclear accident! People LOVE THOSE FILMS. And you can’t argue with that.

Sandria Plummer (Wed Aug 29 22:47:48 BST 2012): Well done Grazia/Chanel Film Club for a magnificent elegant evening last night of When Harry Met Sally at the Roof Gardens, one of Nora Ephron's best, we were truly spoilt - thank you once again.
