Hands up who has been in floods of tears this weekend as Team GB carried on the Olympic gold rush, picking up medal after medal. Thought so.
We’re emotionally exhausted after bawling as Jessica Ennis took top position in the heptathlon and Andy Murray won a gold medal at Wimbledon.

And who DIDN’T sob when Mo Farah crossed the 10,000 metre line first… to be hugged by his tearful step-daughter and wife.
Yet that wasn’t all from our amazing athletes. Joanna Rowsell, Dani King and Laura Trott won in the women's team pursuit at the Velodrome.

Greg Rutherford leapt to victory in the long jump and at Eton Dorney, our women’s lightweight double sculls and men’s coxless four also took gold.

Meanwhile, Ben Ainslie became the most successful sailor of all time after securing… yep, you guessed it: gold.
Phew, we’re worn out. (Which is probably why we’re not, you know, Olympic athletes…).
