Alex Pettyfer To Be Kristen Stewart’s Leading Man In New Film Cali?

It’s not been a good couple of days for Kristen Stewart.  Twilight fans the world over went into shock as pictures surfaced of her canoodling with married Snow White and the Huntsmen director, Rupert Sanders and she confessed to cheating on boyfriend of four years Robert Pattinson. Noo!

Whilst her personal life may have hit the rocks, Kristen's career is on the up. The eagerly anticipated adaptation of the Jack Kerouac classic, On The Road is released in November in which she plays Marylou opposite Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund.

And another Hollywood hottie is lined up to be her co-star in up-coming, Cali - Alex Pettyfer. The Magic Mike star is rumoured to be playing Chris to her Mya. The details of the film are sketchy but it’s said to follow a couple (Chris and Mya) who make a fake film and head on the run.

Years later, they return home to rescue Mya’s sister from, amongst other things, ‘An unstoppable killing machine in a cowboy hat,’ according to Voltage Pictures who are making the film. Sounds edgy.

Brit-born Alex, 22, first made waves when he was 16, playing teenage spy in kid-film Stormbreaker. Since then he’s appeared in action flick I am Number Four and has seen his chiselled cheekbones plastered on billboards for several Burberry campaigns.  His recent turn as a male stripper in Magic Mike proved he has the acting chops and killer abs to make him a verified Hollywood star.

Alex is reportedly engaged to actress, model and granddaughter of Elvis Presley, Riley Keough. We wonder what she thinks about her man working with Kristen in light of recent news?

Stacey Kane (Mon Jan 07 14:02:58 GMT 2013): Obviously they can if they keep getting cast in top Hollywood roles...and if they are getting cheques that big they must be doing something right..? dont you think
