Armed with our wellies and favourite festival garb (neons, frayed denim shorts and Barbour jackets), we sloshed through the mud, survived a flooded tent and danced our boots off at Latitude Festival this weekend. We saw Lana Del Rey ask for a cigarette mid-through 'Summertime Sadness', Made in Chelsea's Jamie Laing host the fashion show, pronouncing 'Latitude' as 'LAH-titude' and rising star, Lianne La Havas, ask us all to put our hands in the air as she takes a photo of her 'first ever Latitude audience.'

Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey (and her amazing hair, seriously) sang her crowdpleasing 'Video Games' and followed with a performance of her album track, 'Summertime Sadness.' Mid-way through the song, she asked a behind-the-scenes runner for a cigarette, took two puffs, continued on and then stomped it out on stage. Now, that's Rock'N'Roll...

Lianne La Havas

The lovely Lianne La Havas asked the Latitude crowd to gather together with their arms up while she took a photo of her 'first ever Latitude audience.' The singer said 'corr blimey!' at least twice and was generally very, very excited. The up-and-coming star sang three songs as a 'homage to her ex-boyfriend' ending with her amazing track, aptly titled, 'Gone.'

Jamie Laing

Made In Chelsea's Jamie Laing shmoozed the crowd as he hosted the graduate fashion shows. He did, however, keep pronouncing Latitude as 'LAH-titude'. Would we expect anything less though, darling?

Proudlock

Jamie also exposed his co-star Proudlock, who yes, was still wearing that cross earring and was in the crowd donning a little black hat. Within seconds of the shout out, the girls flocked around him to get photos. He refused to join Jamie on stage though. Bless.

Janelle Monae

Starting out as a hooded dancer, Janelle Monae made her entrance by ripping her hood off and singing her lungs out. The quiff, the red nails, the androgynous styling. We loved it all.
