That’s right, after a long few months of being Schmidt-less, New Girl is BACK tonight with not one, but two whole episodes. Cancel your plans because your latest TV girl crush, 32-year-old, Zooey Deschanel is finally back on our screens.

That’s more  Ross-And-Rachel type tension between Nick and Jess, Schmidt (and his abs) and more of that saccharine-sweet girly humour. In honour of New Girl’s return, Grazia HQ look at just why we’ve loved Zooey Deschanel ever since she first appeared on our screens as Will Ferrell’s (blonde!) love interest, Jovie, in 2003’s ‘Elf’. She broke Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s heart in 2009’s ‘500 Days Of Summer’, became the soundtrack of our Christmas with her band’s ‘A Very She & Him Christmas’ album and is our Instagram-addiction with all her behind-the-scenes photos with A-list BFFs. Basically, she's adorkable.
