So What DID You See When You Looked At This Picture?

Those eager beavers among you will have already seen the photos of Christina Hendricks in this week’s issue, in a black one-piece on the beach beside Lake Como. But, as our debate shows in Grazia, the images have raised very different opinions on her body.

Christina, who we all know and love as the feisty Joan Holloway in Mad Men and soon to be co-starring alongside SJP in the new flick I Don’t Know How She Does It, has always acknowledged her classic hourglass figure, saying, 'I’m learning to celebrate what I was born with, even though it’s sometimes been inconvenient.'

It can’t have been easy to pick a swimsuit that retains her modesty yet stylishly houses one of the most voluptuous figures Hollywood has seen for some time. But with her nipped waist and porcelain skin, we think she looks amazing. In fact, never has the saying, 'if you’ve got it, flaunt it' been more apt. And Christina is certainly an inspiration to women everywhere to embrace what nature has given them.

Unfortunately, not everyone has been quite so complimentary about Christina’s curves with some going as far as to say she’s ‘overweight, not curvy’.  In the magazine this week, we bring you insight from both the male and female perspective based on what our writers ‘saw’ when they looked at the pictures for the very first time. But enough about us! We would LOVE to know what you think – get in touch below!
