Grazia Daily Watches The X Factor!

01 November 2010

If you’re in the one percent of the country NOT watching the X Factor then we can only apologise for our weekly post-show commentary. But come on, it’s all ANYONE is talking about. We've covered the frock-off so we’ll keep it brief – here are our top water cooler moments…

- Cher. Am-azing! We agree with Simon that it was the performance of the series. More ballads, less rapping please, from now on…

- Matt Cardle. Hmm, not our favourite number. And why does he keep singing girls’ songs. We reckon he’d do a great Damien Rice, ‘The Blower’s Daughter.’ (You guys got any suggestions?)

- Did anyone else find themselves suddenly, randomly missing Rhydian? His Phantom of the Opera would have gone down a treat on Spook night.

 - Rihanna. Made us crave a food fight – and wedding cake.

- Jamiroquai-gate. No wonder Cheryl refused to clap his performance.

- Belle Amie’s exit. No tears from us there. Do you agree that they’d outstayed their welcome?

- Who spotted Wagner’s ‘Vote Rebecca’ T-shirt in his VT? Meanwhile Rebecca has said that if she was a viewer she’d vote Wagner. Let us be the first to kick start rumours of an on-show romance. Okay we know it’s not true but we SO wish it was…

- Simon turned on Cheryl for not giving Treyc enough attention. How stumped did she look when Simon pop-quizzed her on where Treyc lived. Good thing he didn’t ask how she spelled her name…

That’s all for now but check out the latest issue of Grazia - on sale tomorrow - for the latest on Simon and Cheryl’s ‘date nights’…

UPDATE: Wonder why Chezza and Dannii looked less then impressed by Jay Kay's performance? Might be something to do with these quotes he gave to The Sun in an interview published on Saturday (the day before he appeared on X Factor):

‘When have [Dannii and Cheryl] ever done anything? You’re useless. The pair of you. I mean you look great and I’d like to f****** shag you but that’s all. I just don’t like the w**** stuff I have to do. F****** X Factor and that. I’m going to have to sing in front of f****** amateurs. Do you know what I mean?'
