No doubt you’ve already seen Lady Gaga’s rant in today’s episode of Grazia TV but Grazia Daily wanted to bring you this 7 minute clip of her appeal to fans, because we want to know whether she gets YOUR vote. Especially as this time, the popstar is using her pulling power for good, not dollar signs.
Check out the video clip above where Gaga appeals to US senators to drop the controversial military policy, ‘Don’t ask don’t tell’.
Under this policy, which Obama has promised to repeal, gay soldier can serve in the US army however have to hide their sexuality.
And kudos to Gaga - ‘the voice of my generation’ – she’s really quite the politician. Dressing unusually demurely, in a suit and tie, the singer looks close to tears as she pleads, ‘Abolish laws that harbour hatred and discrimination. No one person is more valuable then the other.’
So what do you think of this, more serious, side of Gaga? Can you see a second career in the pipeline? Or should she stick to deli-dresses?
