Did YOU Consider Cosmetic Surgery Before Hitting The Beach This Summer?

20 August 2010

Before we report on the survey of the day can we just state we have our doubts as to whether it’s a true representation of the UK female population. If it is… well, shame on you ladies! Sign up for a feminist summer camp immediately!
The topic – what’s on the minds of British women in the run up to bare-all bikini season…  We expected the obvious – diets and detox – but were shocked by the extent of women’s insecurities. A staggering 90 percent of women questioned said they’d considered cosmetic surgery before embarking on their summer breaks.
Nearly 50 percent said they’d looked into tummy tucks, almost 30 percent, liposuction and more then 1 in 10 said they’d considered having a boob job.

Whilst we appreciate how self conscious a barely there bikini makes us, would you really mutilate your body for a two week holiday? And what about the rest of the year? Personally we think a holiday is the time to let lose, ditch your make-up and relax.  You’ll probably never see any of your resort neighbours again…
For a cheaper way of boosting your body confidence we recommend a large jug of sangria… Trust us, you’ll be sauntering around sans sarong in no time!
