We could have an election themed tea party with all the blue, yellow and red eatables sent into the Grazia office in the last week or so. Not that we’re complaining! Although it’s #nickcleggsfault when our jeans won’t button…
Artisan du chocolat are selling election buttons (forget red, blue and yellow, and vote milk, dark or caramel). www.artisanduchocolat.com
Marks and Spencers will be selling chocolate ‘rosette’ lollypops in the three main party’s colours from this Friday.
Meanwhile Ben and Jerry’s has created an entire range of flavours in honour of the candidates: chose between Cameron (caramel) chew chew, Gordon Fudge Brownie, Cheesecake Clegg or even the Fairtrade Fairly Nuts Monster Raving Loonies.
And look what’s just been arrived from Lola’s bakery at Selfridges in time for our afternoon tea break: these delish campaign cupcakes come in red velvet, blueberry or banana flavour.
If our taste in baked goods is anything to go by, Nick Clegg is the flavour of the day: after two days on sales, the Lib Deb cupcakes have sold the most, followed by the Tories. In fact, Selfridges has had to order more Nick Clegg banana cakes to cope with demand.
We can’t be seen to be biased, so we better taste all three…
